As promised yesterday (well, today, technically, I’m not sleeping correctly), here’s another ‘NotherHack post.
First of, here’s a screenshot of the newest version:

You won’t be able to spot most of the differences form the previous version, but a short list of the changes are:
Status bar – I kept dying without knowing my health, so I added the status bar.
More monsters – Chefs and Hooligans.
More items – New weapons, and a sleeping pill, which I’ll be explaining later.
Weapons – You are now able to equip items.
New LoS stuff – You’ll no longer be able to see monsters on discovered fields if you cannot draw line of sight to them.
Better AI – Monsters now only hunt you if they can see you, though if you run of of sight, they’ll go to where they saw you last.
New Dungeons – One monster in each dungeon will now carry a sleeping pill, which, upon eating, will teleport you to the next dungeon level. The monsters contained in each level are balanced against which dungeon you have progressed to.
There’s probably a few things I forgot to mention, but these are the basics. The game is turning out to be very difficult, since there’s no way to regain lost health at the moment, and the Hooligans have a tendency to rip me apart with Softball Bats… if I even manage to get far enough into the dungeon to meet them.
But I’ll have to work on thatfor the next version.
Much Love ’till the next post^^
Ps: Does anyone out there know how to make a list of derived classes from a base class in C#? I’m lost, and it would make some things in the game much much easier.
